Description
Le Petit Nysse is a wine made from old Carignan and Grenache vines grown in a distinctive terroir that benefits from the cool air brought by the Ventoux, whilst being sheltered from extreme weather conditions by a small mountain. This very distinctive terroir produces a rich and fragrant wine with the aromas of Provence.
90% Grenache
10% Carignan
Hand-harvested. The grapes are destemmed before a long maceration, during which the marc is frequently but gently pumped over. Traditional vinification, with 5% of the volume aged in French oak barrels.
We are delighted to present this new generation of Petit Nysse, crafted from superb grapes. It boasts a deep, vibrant garnet-red colour. This wine carries aromas of garrigue, chestnut and chestnut cream. On the palate, there is an explosion of black fruit flavours, along with blackcurrant, and on the finish, wonderful notes of dark chocolate.
Pair with a game stew, grilled meat with a red fruit coulis, or a Black Forest gateau.
