Bocuse d'Or – France Selection 2027

In February 2027, Sirha Méditerranée hosts the Bocuse d'Or France in Marseille. Five chefs will compete in this national selection with one goal: to represent France on the European stage at the Bocuse d'Or Europe 2027, and continue the journey towards the Bocuse d'Or Grand Finale in Lyon.

1ST TIME IN FRANCE

For the first time in its history, the Bocuse d'Or Europe was held in Marseille, at Parc Chanot, as part of Sirha Méditerranée. Under the honorary presidency of Marseille-born chef Gérald Passedat, 20 European teams competed over two days to secure one of the 10 qualifying spots for the Bocuse d'Or Grand Finale, hosted at Sirha Lyon in January 2027.

At the end of the competition, Christian Wellendorf (Denmark) topped the podium, ahead of Christian André Pettersen (Norway) and Matteo Terranova (Italy).

Held at the Maison de la Mutualité in Paris, the Bocuse d'Or France 2025 brought together six candidates around two imposed products: Saint-Pierre fish and Paris mushroom. Under the honorary presidency of Christopher Coutanceau, the chefs competed over a full day of competition showcasing their creativity, technical skill, and expertise.

At the end of the trials, Maxence Baruffaldi won this edition of the Bocuse d'Or France and was selected to represent France in the remainder of the competition. Arthur Fauriel received the Best Commis award.

World Pastry Cup – France Selection 2027

Upcoming | 15 February 2027

For the first time, the France Selection of the World Pastry Cup will take place at Parc Chanot in Marseille. This inaugural phase opens a two-year journey leading to the continental selections in 2028, then the international Grand Finale in January 2029.

Founded in 1989 and presided over by Pierre Hermé, the World Pastry Cup brings together teams across three specialities: chocolate, sugar, and ice. France has won the competition 8 times.
