CAVE DES COTEAUX DE LANCON
It was in 1929 that a handful of winegrowers joined forces to create the Cave des Coteaux de Lançon. In 1996, to address the decline in agricultural land and the number of farmers, the cooperative wineries of Lançon-Provence and Cornillon-Confoux merged. Through this new union, the diversity of terroirs, grape varieties, and the people involved brings added richness to the quality of our wines.
This pooling of winemaking facilities and our sales outlet allows some twenty winegrowing families to make a living from their passion while maintaining their Provençal and family identity. The vineyard blends harmoniously among the hills, olive groves, wheat fields, garrigue scrubland, and forest across 130 hectares, including approximately 100 hectares under the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence and 35 hectares under the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Méditerranée.
Deeply in love with their craft and their vineyard, the winegrowers continue to promote local agriculture by producing wines that breathe terroir and passion.
