Emmanuelle Luciani is an artist, art historian and artistic director. She practices contextual art, creating hybrid worlds and total works of art in which popular culture, heritage, science fiction and craftsmanship converge. Through this ecosystem, her performative and scenographic work activates the past as a living material where past, present and future collide.
Deeply engaged with Marseille’s heritage history, as well as with renowned maisons of craftsmanship such as Hermès, Baccarat and Porsche, Emmanuelle also collaborates on the artistic direction of hotel groups and brands. She fully redesigned the image of her family business, Café Luciani — Marseille’s oldest coffee roastery, owned by her father.
