Marine Bottari, a native of Marseille and granddaughter of a restaurateur, initially pursued a professional path in Art Law.
In 2013, while living in Paris, her passion for hospitality resurfaced, sparked by a meeting with Michelin-starred chef Thierry Marx and MOF Sommelier David Biraud.
This led to seven years at the Parisian palace Mandarin Oriental, where Marine worked with dedication at the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Sur Mesure.
After the Covid period, she returned to her hometown with plans to open her own establishment. She partnered with fellow Marseille native Jules Mollaret — she leading the front of house and he in the kitchen — and together they now run three venues in Marseille: Coquille Bistrot Marin, Travers, and the wine bar Traversin.
