Laurent is the founder of Café Lauca, an artisanal 100% specialty coffee roastery based in Provence, with a coffee shop in Marseille, Café Lauca La Boutchica. He also supports professionals (coffee shops, restaurants, companies) by offering tailor-made solutions combining sourcing, roasting, and consultancy.
Originally from Colombia, he rediscovered the richness and rigor of coffee producers’ work during a trip to his home country in 2019, which inspired him to create Café Lauca. Trained in roasting and SCA-certified, he has developed an approach focused on balance, precision, and the vibrant expression of coffee. His ambition is to offer specialty coffee that is both demanding and accessible, highlighting the work of producers while remaining approachable and enjoyable for all.
