Lionel Lévy is a French chef trained alongside some of the great names of gastronomy, including Gérard Garrigues, Yves Camdeborde, Éric Fréchon and Alain Ducasse, and is known for his creative Mediterranean style. He made his name in Marseille by opening Une Table au Sud and later leading Alcyone at the InterContinental Marseille – Hôtel Dieu, a Michelin-starred restaurant.
His cuisine highlights local products and the flavors of the Provençal terroir through a contemporary and generous approach. In addition to his work as a chef, he is actively involved in promoting regional gastronomy and serves as president of the Gourméditerranée association.
After a decade at the InterContinental, he was recently appointed Executive Chef of the luxury Zannier Hotels complex on the island of Bendor, where he oversees the entire gastronomic offering (three restaurants, four bars, room service, breakfasts, and private events).
